Hearing Aids Through Texas Medicaid and Insurance

Hearing Haven is currently IN NETWORK with: BlueCross BlueShield, Amerigroup, Molina and Healthspring.  If your insurance is not listed, please give us a call for the most recent update.  

Hearing Haven - Accepted Insurance

Hearing Haven is currently accepting patients who are enrolled in qualified Texas Medicaid Benefit Programs. If you suspect that you may have a hearing loss, call our office at 888-412-3337 to see if you qualify for hearing aids through Texas Medicaid.

All you will need is:

  • A copy of your current Medicaid ID card
  • A copy of a valid Texas Driver’s License or state-issued ID card
  • A signed Physician’s Exam Report (Form B.41) or referral form
  • A copy of any supplemental plan ID cards (AmeriGroup, Molina, etc.)

If you do not have these items, please call us anyway. We can help you locate your information so we can determine if you are eligible for hearing aids through Texas Medicaid.

The Texas Medicaid Program Has Changed!

As of October 1, 2012, Medicaid will pay for one hearing aid per ear, every five years on patients that are 21 and older. Children from ages 0-20, are eligible for two hearing aids.

How do you find out if we can help you use your Texas Medicaid hearing and hearing aid benefits? Grab your current Medicaid card and call us. We will check your eligibility online, and if you are eligible we can schedule a hearing test and evaluation for you. These benefits do not cost you anything. If you have a qualified hearing loss Medicaid may pay for you to get a hearing aid. Medicaid may also pay for repairing your current hearing aid as well as a supply of hearing aid batteries.  As of January 1, 2012, some Medicare Supplements will help pay for hearing aids. If you have a supplemental insurance such as AARP or Blue Cross Blue Shield call us so we can check your benefits. (888) 412-3337.
