I just wanted to write and say thank you. Through your wonderful newsletter I contacted Hearing Haven and sent my hearing aids to them for repairs.

Ever since I purchased my aids through a local Dr.'s office I have had nothing but trouble with them. The manufacturer would only repair them and refused to replace them. Even though they both would break in 2 - 3 months time. After the manufacturers one year warranty was up they continued to charge me $200.00 an aid (just to look at them) plus repair costs. It got to the point where I just didn't wear them any more.

If this is the quality of the hearing aids I didn't want anything to do with them. The aids where supposed to be high quality instruments from [manufacturer], cost me over $2700 a piece. And I had to shell out $300-400  ( a piece!) every other month for the manufacturer to repair them. Plus it took several weeks time from when I left them at the office and until I got them back. Not counting my driving to the office to drop them off and pick them up.

Hearing Haven was great in answering my questions and I sent them my aids. In about a week I got them back in the mail. This was in late July and now they are still working. The manufacturer would never answer my calls or emails and they never told me what they had to fix. Hearing Haven included a sheet with the repairs done listed. And it was no more than their price on their website.

Hearing Haven is a wonderful company and I am extremely pleased with their service. I can not say enough good thing s about them. And an extremely heartfelt THANK YOU to you for leading me to them from your newsletter. I can't believe my hearing aids are still working.

I received the aid this morning. So far it is working great. Thanks a lot for fixing it for me, and the turnaround was great.

Sure am glad I found out about your business via the internet. I was looking at $4800 to replace them, and the audiologist told me that was a good customer price. LOL.

It is with pleasure that I can thank you for the repair on my mother’s hearing aid. I originally sent it to you for repair, relying completely on the testimonials on your site. My mother is 94 years old with advanced macular degeneration and loss of hearing in both ears. She had been living alone, but after a fall this past summer, we had no choice but to place her in a nursing home.

Not long after she was settled in, one of her hearing aids malfunctioned. I sent it to your company where it was repaired reasonably and in a timely manner. She was thrilled! She could hear again!

Imagine how distressed we were when she took it out just a few weeks later, put it in the pocket of a sweater and the sweater was taken out of her room to be laundered. When she remembered where she put it, we were able to retrieve it, but unfortunately, it was mangled to the point that I was sure was beyond repair!

I sent it back to Hearing Haven, with no expectations whatsoever. Our experience over the last few months in dealing with health care professionals has been eye opening. We are shocked at how many people will take advantage of the elderly, exhibiting no conscience in what they demand for the most basic of services.

You are to be applauded for honoring your warranty with no questions asked, and not taking advantage of people that really need your services.
